Hi everyone, Im being totally honest I am in High School and taking many health classes, we talked about herpes one day...scared me pretty bad, but I said, wow hopefully that won't happen to me, Sure enough I had little bumps on me, but they were just white. So Please everyone I have a question...What do herpes look like exactly I really need to know, my teacher explained them as bumps, but I figured someone that actually has them would know more than she. Please help me!

Herpes bumps are sore and sensitive. They look like teeny tiny blisters. Sometimes there is only one; other times they come in clusters. After a day or two they break open on their own and form open sores--if there was only one or two blisters, the sore may be like a pinprick, but if they were in clusters, they will form a larger sore. Herpes is very painful and it changes throughout a week from swelling/redness, to blisters, to sores, to healed-over reddish marks, to nothing. The bumps do not look like the whitehead pimples you may get on your face from acne. Good luck!
