I just thought of another question....

As you can prob. see by my screen name I have a little dog that needs to be taken out... my boyfriend will be able to take him out in the morning and when he gets home at 8pm but in between he'll need a walk... I am going to contact a pet walking service but how long do you think before I can take him out myself? He only needs to go a few steps outside the door but considering the cold and all... don't know if I should ask them to come for two weeks or more or less... any advice on how long until you can hobble out to the corner and back?

So much depends upon you and your doctor. I went back to work the second week after my first surgery. I spent most of the day at my desk but could have walked to the corner and back. After my second surgery I was on crutches. That is a different story. Sorry I am not much help.
