View Full Version : Stress Fracture Recovery

Back in August, I sustained a slight stress fracture on the heel of my right foot while fitness walking. I wore a walking cast for about two months and the pain is now gone (yeah!). However, I still get a popping or snapping down in the foot that's somewhat disconcerting. The popping happens most in the morning after I first wake up. Should I worry about this? Will it ever go away? I'm taking it easy on the foot because I don't want to risk re-injury.

[I was supposed to follow up with my podiatrist in mid-November, but I've switched jobs and am waiting for new insurance to kick in.]
