I have an awful taste in my throat when I swallow and I'm wondering if it's from sinus drainage. Does anyone else get this? If so, what's a good over the counter remedy? Thanks!

It most definately could be. You may even have a sinus infection...OR on the other hand, you could have peridontist disease (dental)

Peridontal (hope I am spelling that right)

Thanks for the reply. It's nothing with my teeth or gums. I go to the dentist every 6 months and everything there checks out fine. Whenever I've had a Dr. look at my throat they always comment about the drainage but have never suggested I do anything about it. I'm wanting to take something over the counter to try and remedy it.

Hi,
I have always had sinus problems/allergies and I have noticed that I also have a bad taste in my mouth when I swallow-sometimes feels like a lump. The taste makes me feel a little nauseous. Does anyone have any solution that might help this? Thanks!

Could be from sinus infection or food particles stuck behind tonsils. Go to an ENT - good luck!

I have bad tastes in my mouth because of sinus drainage. I do take nose spray but i've had this problem since i was a child. Drink lots of water and it will help it go away but not completely. Also talk to an allergist. My allergist told me to not eat certain types of food.

Good advice, an Allergist would be a next step. With problems like this, it's hard to know for sure, between an ENT and Allergist you should have it covered.

Do nasal irrigation with sea salt and baking soda, this could be what you are looking for. Just find a nasal irrigation product to use and you are on your way to better health.
