Hi!
Lately I have been getting a periodic burning sensation in my left tmj joint area. Sometimes it feels like it's inside, other times it can go off just by running my hand across the area. Most of the time it's around the joint, but, other times it's felt like it's moved over to my face. I don't ever remember having this problem until I went and had the trigger point injections. My chiropractor said it could be nerves waking up, or lactic acid (drink lots of water), or for joint pain take glucosamine. This is really freaking me out, because I never had this before. I keep hoping it will go away, but, it hasn't for over 2 weeks.
MY doctor said that he may need to change my position in the splint. He doesn't know about these new symptoms (I e-mailed him this morning).
