Hey everyone, had to share two victories with ya'll. Two days ago, I really felt normal--no motion,no spinning, no bouncy eyes--for a whole 30 minutes!!!! At first, I thought--hey something's wrong here BUT what. funny thing is--I was in grocery store!!!! boy, did I look around and didn't feel like I was in a marathon. Put up the grocery's when we got home and then it started back slowly--the rocking,swaying---BUT, I had 30 mins of freedom!!! And yesterday, I drove to town ALONE...Only a 30 min drive, but for me a BIG deal. While in town, I got confused and just could not remember how to find a place I have been to a million times and that scared me, but thought, I know how to get home--so I am OK....The boat is at full throttle, in choppy waters AGAIN, but I have renewed hope and just wanted to Thank God and share some good news for a change....Belle

Hi, Belle!
I am SO excited for you!!!! There is light!!! You know when this happens that it can happen again!
I just got back from town today. I am determined to keep going as long as I can. It is nerve-wracking driving but it went fine. I stopped and got a few groceries, got gas, drove my boys thru McD's, stopped and visited with my mom for a little bit and then drove the boys around to see the Christmas lights. I felt pretty normal doing that, considering it was dark and even with all the lights. It was fun cause they were SO excited!
Anyway, I am so happy for you and hope that those moments will continue to be more and more!
Blessings!
Vicki

Hi Belle,
That's great news. I would guess this is the beginning of those fleeting moments of normalcy I spoke of. Hopefully it will become hours and then days for you. Keep up hope, I am glad you got a break.
