hi,
im 25 yrs old and have been suffering from a feeling of lightheadedness sort of swaying feeling since april 2002 the dr cant seem to figure it out and they arent sure the cause of it the latest guess is my weight is putting pressure on my brain cause im bout 150 lbs overweight has anyone else experienced this sort of problem? does anyone know what could cause the lightheaded feeling ive seen several specialist including 3 different ENT id appreciate any advice possible.

Hi..I am also the same amount of weight over, and I experince the same..I truly suggest a cholesterol test..I am sky high and high cholesterol affects the brain..Good luck..-

thank you for replying is the high cholesterol levels why u feel like ur woozy? and does it seem to last all day? do u feel anything else associated with the wooziness such as nausia? im not sure if ive had a cholesterol test the last one i recall was yrs ago so im definitely going to check into that im also going to see neurologist monday they seem to think maybe my weight is putting too much pressure on my brain i praye verything turns out ok.

one other thing what are they doing to help u with ut cholesterol levels and does it make the wooziness go away?

You also might have an inner ear problem. This causes dizziness, nausea, etc. My husband had this problem, went to the doctor and they fixed him right up.

another thing, are you on any medications that could be making you feel this way? I was taking a certain medication for depression several years ago, I can't remember which one, and I remember especially as i was walking i would always feel like i was about to "tip over". I hope they find the answer soon to your problem! I bet you do too!

thanks for replying but tis not my inner ear done been down that road seen 3 different ENT and everything come back normal.

thanks for replying i hope they find the problem too but when all this started i wasnt on any medications since then theyve put me on several antidepressants and i only thing they are making me worse but now i feel like i cant get off them i just got of paxil and started wellbutrin and now the dizziness is worse than be4 im so confused and hate this badly
