I'm an extremely paranoid person and I'm concerned for my health, so this might seem like a stupid question, but can you get HIV/STD/AIDS from pop-kissing or making out with a guy? Please respond and thank you in advance.

i donno what pop kissing is. deep tounge kissing is very very very low risk. like the same odds as getting hit by lightning. and it depends on what you mean by making out. you can get crabs from sitting on a toilet seat, (rare too but i knew someone it happened to) oral sex it still low risk for HIV, but higher for some STD's. basically HIV is a weak virus, it can't live when exposed to air. there is air in your moth when you kiss and when you have oral sex, however, if there is a cut or something that is bleeding that is a higher risk. HIV can not be transmitted through saliva, as far as i know. do some more looking around on HIV related web sites, you will find the exact figures. but you have nothing to worry about. just keep playing it safe,

The CDC reports ONE case, in all the millions of HIV cases, and the 20+ year it has been recognized, ONE case of KNOWN transmisson through deep kissing. And in that case, BOTH people had extremley BAD BAD oral hygiene. So it is HIGHLY unlikley you would catch HIV through kissing. More likley, as nyxin said, to be struck by lightning, and I would say, in this case, twice.
