Hi... It is me again... I want to be really sure about something... I had sex on July 1 which was protected sex except when I gave oral sex to a guy ( I am a girl) So I had sex on July 1 and got tested for Hiv on October 10 and it came back negative and my doctor told me that I did not need to test again at 6 months... Do I need to take the test again or can I really believe in the negative test that was done at 13 weeks and 1 day?

Your test was taken at precisley the right time. Also keep in mind, that 3 months is 90 days in wich case, starting at July 1st as day 1, and ending October 10, it was a total of 102 days. So your test was taken at the right time for an accurate, and conclusive result.
The only reason 6 month tests are recomended, is in the cases of needlestick injuries, and if you are with a KNOWN HIV+ individual. Other than that, 3 months is conclusive, so your definilty in the clear!

If I had sex on july 2 and tested on October 10 and was negative it would be in the 3 month period too right? It would be accurate as well? I don't rememeber if it was July 1 or July 2 that I had sex...

If it was July 2nd, it would be 101 days, still perfect timing. It is still PAST the window period, wich is EXACTLY what it needs to be. You tested at the right time.
