My daughter is almost 3. SHe is severley allergic too cashews and mildly to some other tree nuts. SO she already has a history of allergies. A few weeks ago she seemed she was havibg an allergic reaction. She was pale, her eye were a bit puffy and she didn't feel well. She had just ate eggs toast and bacon. She actually ate all her breakfast. She rarely eats her eggs if I make them. I as wondering if she could be allergic to eggs. I know she has had eggs before, but is it maybe the quantity of how much she consumes.
She actualy has a doc apoinment tomorrow with her allergist. I will bring his up to her doc. I was just wondering what you all thought and if anyone has experienced an egg allergy. Thanks!

Could it be a dairy allergy? Milk in the eggs and/or butter on the toast. Good luck.

Well, I think the previous post definitely has a point.
Did you cook the eggs with butter or added milk to the eggs? similarly did you butter the toast.
I think I have some intolerance to eggs but it occurs maybe an hour after I eat them. I am testing my system at this time.
But there could be a couple of other items

1) Nitrates - in bacon
2) Wheat

If you go to the allergist, what tests does he use to determine the allergy. If he does a skin test there are limits to what could be conclusive. A blood test I think is a little more helpful

Good luck

Thanks for your input.
Well when we went to the allergist the first time she did a skin test on tree nuts, peanuts, animals, and outdoor stuff. Cashews and tree nuts were her main thing. The doc also ordered a blood test.
So I guess when we go tomorrow I will just tell her about the reaction and what she had to eat. THen she may do a skin test and probably follow up with a blood test.

There was butter on the toast and milk in the eggs. She always drinks milk and when she has toast in front of her she eats it, unlike the eggs which she doesn't eat much of. Oh and bacon she usuall eats that when it's there too.

Thanks for all of your input!!
