My left eye has been twitching for about 5 weeks now. At random times of the day, my left eye will start twitching for about 5-10min. This happens once or tiwce each day. Ive booked an eye doctor appointmnet for next week, but what si wrong? Is this a serious problem. Can I get medicine for it or is surgery required?

I had an eye twitch 24/7 for 6 months due to a smack in the eye. I was out of my mind it :rolleyes: !!!!!! Made me nuts so I called my Dr. and he said to have accupuncture-he said it was the only chance I had to get rid of it. I had it done and in 30 minutes it went away--forever!!!!!! Good luck! Gina
