View Full Version : Bad side effects of Claritan D?

I get sinus headaches, usually come on this time of year. My PCP prescribed Claritan D 2 years ago before it was available OTC. I know there were a few days here and there I'd feel really nauseous and be in a nasty mood. I don't take it too often because it would rev me up, then throw me back down, I'd want to fall asleep a few hours after taking it. I usually stick with Motrin Sinus. Today I decided to pull my prescription out and use 1 my head was pounding so bad. All day I've felt so sick. My body feels weak, like I have no strength in my arms and I'm horribly nauseous. I've also been in a rotten mood again. Looking back, days I've felt like this is the few days here and there I've taken Claritan D. I know I've gotten nauseous from Excedrin Miagrain before and assumed it was asprin. Is there aspirin in Claritan? I'm trying to figure out what main ingredient is in there that I'm obviously having a bad reaction to. I take Motrin Sinus just fine (Ibuprofen + Psudophedrine). Anyone else have these kind of reactions all from an allergy pill?

Thanks,
Renee

Yes, I have, but I have bad reactions to like every med on the market. I would just stick with the IB Profen. That's all I can take.

Good luck!!
