 When I first became ill with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and fibroymalgia I was having terrible problems with my stomach. I was told it was gastritis, IBS, etc. Then finally they did a gastric empltying test and it should I have a terrible digestive disorder called gastroparesis. This can cause one a lot of pain. You can only eat tiny meals, and have trouble with just about everything you eat. Bloating is another symptom. The pain is located at the middle tope of the area where the stomach is. For me, the pain is disabling and I cannot clean, cook, or do anything anymore. If I just unload the dishwasher I get terrible pain and have to lay back down again. For immediate relief of pain, get a cold ice pack and fill it with ice cubes and lay down and put the ice pack on your stomach where the pain is. Your doctor can prescribe Reglan, or erythromicin to get you stomach going again. Mine has gotten so bad that I have to see a motility specialist in Los Angeles. There are treatment options to this. But first you must take the test to see if this is what you are dealing with.

I also have gastroparesis.
My main symptoms are vomiting, stomach pain and extreme nausea.
Maybe you should discuss getting some botox injections into the pylorus, i am getting this procedure done on Wednesday and my gastroenterologist said it has helped alot of people with this same disease.
