Can anyone out there tell me what to expect when my son starts dialysis at the end of the week.
He is 23 and in very good physical condition, obviously, except for kidney disease.
Will be be feeling sickly for the first few treatments...? I am totally in the dark on this.

What kind of dialysis will your son be doing? I have some knowledge of peritonal dialysis done at home.

No he will be doing hemo, three times a week at a dialysis center.
