Hi Lib
Yes---had that a lot---never could figure out why---it went away---about the 12/13th month---for me---when it was happening---it would happen just about every other night---since what I had(VN W/BPPV--got it last week of Jul 02) was viral in nature--I figured--it was being caused by the virus---in the inner ear.

yep - that happened to me too - both at night and during the day. Definitely something to do with the virus. I had it for the first 4 months - it was the middle of winter, yet I would be opening windows all over the house - my whole upper body, especially my face would feel like it was on fire. It would wax and wane all the time. Horrible.

Yes...happens to me too, presumably because the heart rate is up (from the vertigo) and the whole stress thing is up and so....you sweat in bed. Another brilliant side effect.

scott,
i remember reading your post about having your fluid levels checked, i had this test done as well and it came back well within the normal range, you said yours was high but normal, do you feel the fluid in your ears at all do they pop and crackle? or do you hear swishing? also does any one feel like they are falling backwards when trying to sleep? how are you feeling? i am taking a diuretic but it makes me feel lightheaded and dizzy a little. my dr. swears lab cant last more than 6 weeks and does not start and stop, going for a second opinion on mon, he says i have hydrops because i can feel the fluid in my ear! thanks lib

Yep, I sweat at night too, which I never linked to my ear problems. Previously, I was not a sweater -- not even when I exercised. Now, I wake up with the back of my head and back drenched, and slight exertion creates sweat as well. Hmmmm...
