Wow! I m getting frustrated now, My hands and fingers are not standing up very well with this keyboard and mouse. My fingers get really slow to react, and stiffness and cramps. Can't wait to get back to the DR in october, we have lots to talk about.
I am reading alot of post where many people have seen several DR's before they get a diagnosis? Mine was PLS, but the symtoms just don't seem to fit, maybe some, and maybe in the early stages too!
It is really critical for me to get a good diagnosis, as I am having to leave my Job in Jan. 2004
Not sure how the SSDI is going to treat me. I have read some disgusting nightmares there too! How do they sleep at night, knowing they rejected someone that desperatly needs the assistance.
Lots of DR's and facilities here where I live are now dropping Medicare, workman comp, and medicaid, patients. Seems as though these agencies are demanding to much paper work, and not paying in a timely manner.
But lets get IRAQ rebuilt, before we address our own needs in the states!!!
Sorry, didn't mean to unload all that negative hype.
Just Having a bad morning I guess... LOL

I'm sorry to hear that you are not doing well. If your doc does make the diagnoses of ALS, when you apply for social security and disability you won't have to go through all the waiting and mess of too much paper work. They now automatically give full benifiets to ALS patients with out the wait. In the past most ALS patients would pass away before they even got accepted. Considering ALS progresses so fast they put you first on the list. My dad waited for about 3 months before he recieved anything. But they gave him back pay for the short wait. I pray that you have something else that can be treated. I agree with you about the Iraq thing. We are suffering as a country because of this. Until our troops have accomplished the task of the rebuild I see us suffering more in the future. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. I hope you have good days to come. When bad days occur it seems like everything is not worth it. But, you are worth it. Your family is worth it. I am glad you come here to vent out your frustrations. We are all here to listen and to help in any way possible. Good luck on your doc appointment. I understand how hard it can be to wait that long. Is there any other doctor you can see in the meantime? Talk at you soon.
