hi, i took your advice and i have an appointment on mon a 4 with a nerotoligist (SP). thank you for your comforting words, every night i pray for "the people on the message boards" i cant wait to feel as strong as you to be able to accept what ever this is and deal. thank you for your comfort.
as far as the ears they both seem to crackle and pop,i am a little noise sensitive and they flutter anong with the fluid feeling in the right ear. do you get any of this? do you know if any of the others have been diagnosed with hydrops or mieners syndrom? and if hydrops is usually in one or both ears? i am trying to keep it togather but its tuff, everyone is having holiday cheer and i dont want to do anything but freak out. thank you again! lib

Yes, in the early stages I got all of the things you describe and still get some of those sensations now. Fantastic that you've got the neuro oto appt so soon, this is definitely the right thing to do - be sure to ask as many questions as you want to - I think one of things scaring you is not being absolutely sure you know what's going on and also not having all your questions about the condition you might have answered. Information about what's happening can give you back a sense of control and agency and definitely relieves anxiety. Hydrops often affects one ear, but it can affect both. Although as your appt is so soon I wouldn't worry too much about that, see what the neuro oto has to say first.
