Hi everyone, this is the 1st time that I have used a bb,hope I'm doing it right! I have been dealing with symptoms & Drs. for 21/2 years now. First neuro said possible MS prescribed copaxone, 2nd opinion no ms off copaxone. My major problem has been leg pain & weakness.NOW: the past 2 mths I have been exp,severe cramps in my calves & thighs, Ihave been dropping things,I have twithces? in my legs,feet and shoulders.My legs & arms are shrinking and very weak.Any suggestions greatly appreciated!

That is terrible. Your symptoms do sound like classic ALS symptoms. But, ALS mimics so many other motor neuron diseases, as well as MS. Have any of your doctors gone that route yet? I am not a professional, but those symptoms do srtike a red flag. What disorders have they ruled out besides MS? Most doctors will NOT make a diagnoses like ALS unless everything else is ruled out first. How is your breathing? I mean, can you breathe okay? And do you find it difficult to swallow certain foods at all? has your voice changed in any way? Sorry for so many questions. Can you still write or hold a pencil? Most doctors will observe and aske these type of questions.

Have you had an emg? I'm so sorry you're having all these problems. Please see a neurologist that specializes in neuromuscular diseases. They can help you.
