Hi all
I have had GERD for quite some time, have had the endoscopy etc...
Now after coughing for several months the doc did x-ray that showed a dark area subsequent cat scan showed a 5.5X7.5 cm mass in the "right cardiophrenic angle" most consistent with pericardial cyst. My doc checked out the heart and it seems to be doing o.k.. New lung doc thinks the mass is in my lung,,,,, so we aren't even sure at this point WHERE the thing is. He plans to do a bronchoscopy next. I can't help but think this could very well have something to do with the severe GERD I have had for several years,,,the waking with vomit in the lungs etc c.... but doc thinks it would show up as a diffuse problem throughout the lung. But ANYWAY, I thought I would post this here and see if anyone else with GERD has experienced anything similiar. Thanks,
Cheri
