Just wondering how long are you contageous with the flu. Are you just contageous when you are just developing it or also when the symptoms appear? After 4 days my hubby is still caughing with the flu so is he still infectious to others? Thanks Carm :)

Sorry to report, but your usually considered contageous while your running a fever or coughing. This could be a few weeks if this is fact flu and not a cold or other URI.

I think it's just when your in the begining stages and have a fever...but I'm really not too sure.

though my future inlaws are freaking out cause I got the flu (am pretty much over it now) and I'm *Suppose* to go out there with my fiance sometime after Jan. 5th....a month after the fact...and their thinking I'll still be contagious! LOL.....*blinks* oh well...
