First one has to know the reasons for the hysterectomy, to research altrnatives.

I couldn't tell you for sure, but my local library (Louisville Ky) has a lot on the subject, and we're not exactly the biggest city on the map.

I found out I do not need a hysterectomy. My doctor did not trust the lab my slide was sent to and sent it to the hospital. To his credit, the hospital re-did the test and we found out there were no atypical cells only simple and I did not need the hysterectomy nor the progesterone therapy. Now I wonder about any tests at this lab which my insurance carrier demands I use!
