My husband and I are trying to conceive, so I may be a few days pregnant. With that in mind, I came down with an awful cold. I haven't used any otc or prescription medication. I have, however, used echinacea for two days, and have used lavender, eucalyptus, and tea tree essential oils with steam inhalation. I am wondering if any of the above mentioned practices pose a threat if I am only a few days pregnant? Any input is greatly appreciated http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/wink.gif

some herbs including echinacea may cause problems, (it stimulates the immune system and increases certain blood cells)
and some oils if used too strongly (juniper) can cause a miscarriage. check with a registered naturopath or aromatherpist for more information. using homeopathic remedies may be of help to you while pregnant. Originally posted by KTSakalas:
