i have alot of pain in my rib cage on right upper side. i just have to bend or sleep on that side and the pain is servere. i went to the doctor and he said it most likely is a skeletal muscle problem and pain pills is all he could do.. i survived a serious illness two years ago and my lungs collasped and on life support. i wonder if there is a specialist i could see about this problem.

I had the same and was diagnosed with tietzes syndrome, or costochondritis. Might be worth running a search?
