Several people have asked if there is any books I recommend for self-hypnosis. Here are my current recommendations.

1) Hypnosis for Change
Author: Josie Hadley,Carol Staudacher / Paperback / New Harbinger Publications / November 1996
A great text for all levels of practitioners. I highly recommend this text for it is clear and concise. Great scripts for those who need more ideas. I have found this book a good addition to my library.

2) Healing Yourself with Self-Hypnosis
Frank Samuel Caprio,Joseph R. Berger,Revised by Caroline Miller / Paperback / Prentice Hall Press / February 1998

3) Self-Hypnosis: The Complete Manual for Health and Self-Change
Brian M. Alman,Peter T. Lambrou,Onno Van Der Hart / Paperback / Brunner-Routledge / June 1991

Sincerely,

Can you recommend a good meditation book that deals mostly with insomnia? I have recently read bits of a couple meditation books hoping to find more on insomnia, but there really doesn't seem to be a whole lot. In fact, I notice it says "not" to meditate before bed. I can't figure out why they'd say that! I would think that would be the ideal time, especially for those of us whose minds race at bedtime.

Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Thanks.
Marie
