Can anyone tell me where I can find a good lip stain? Also, what is a good shade for pale skin that adds color but is not too dark?

Thanks

Hi,
First, dont let anyone try to suggest to you a long wearing lipstick like Covergirl Outlast or Max Factor lipfinity. Those are not lipstains! :)
A GREAT place to find lipstains (because they arent sold in drug stores) is Sephora.com..the sephora website
They have some from Nars, Vincent Longo and Sephora. I LOVE all of those. Some are pinky, some are orangy. The website has color samples on it also. Benefit has one called Benetint. Pinky and smells like roses. Lipstain is great for when you want to have some color without goopyness. And you can always put clear gloss overtop.

Thanks Courtney, I'm glad you mentioned that about Covergirl and MaxFactor because I was going to try one of those but I won't now because I really do want an actual stain. My lips get really pale in the Winter and I don't want to deal with reapplying lipstick all of the time.

Bobbi Brown also makes lip stain. If you are going to buy a lip stain, the other poster is correct...they don't have them at the drugstore or discount stores (or at least I've never seen them) Make sure what you buy actually says "lip stain". I really can't recommend a specific color though...I ordered one and the color was a lot darker/redder than I really wanted, so if you find a "pinky-mauve" color that's not too light, but not too dark, let us all know what you get. Good luck!
