Nayrb 05-11-2001, 08:02 PM What would be a good remedy to clear out arteries that may have plaque build up because of high cholesteral? Sponsor Michael01 05-14-2001, 12:37 PM I just had a cardiac screening test that indicated a higher than normal amount of placque in my arteries. I plan to go on a 7 day vegetable juice fast. After the fast I plan to go on a very low fat diet. I currently taking a packet of 11 capsules which contain 54 vitamins, minerals and antioxidants. In addition to this, grape seed extract, CHQ10 (100mg), garlic, cayenne, L-Carnitine, Hawthorne Berries and Flax Seed Oil with omega 3, 6, 9. If you do on the juice fast don't take vitamins during this period, just juice and water. I'm also walking 3 to 5 miles a day. Also, you must keep your colon clean (death begins in the colon). Take a high quality colon cleaner on a regular basis (don't use the flavored ones found in drug stores). Good Healh to Everyone. Nayrb 05-14-2001, 07:38 PM Michael: What do you mean by "death begins in the colon" ? Thanks for the input too! Michael01 05-14-2001, 08:56 PM Retained debris in the colon leads to the absorption of toxins, resulting in systemic intoxication (poisoning). Sympton of this condition can include mental confusion, depression, irritability, fatigue, gastrointentinal irregularities. This toxicity can eventually lead to far more serious disorders. Colon cleansing can rid the colon of debris, help prevent and treat a variety of health problems. Many nutritionists and researchers believe that keeping a clean colon can dramatically reduces illnesses. Also, viamins & minerals are better absorbed when you have a clean colon. Years ago, a researcher coined the phrase, "Death Begins In The Colon". (Don't remember his name but that's not important). Hope this answers your question. Of course, you don't have to agree with any of this. Good Health. Harry 05-15-2001, 01:17 AM Hi, Doing this properly and knowing the results that you are getting is an ambitious task. I think the best and safest way to clean your arteries is by Chelation Therapy. There is a method that uses a chelating agent interavenously called EDTA. It is done under the supervision of a Doctor. The treatment usually takes 30 infusions that take about 2 hours each---over a period of up to 30 weeks. It has been used with good results to remove calcified, hardened plaque from arterial walls. It has also been used to remove heavy metals such as lead, mercury, cadmium from the body. The entire program is costly. You get a physical, urine test weekly, and blood monitored frequently. But, to do it properly this has to be done. There is a method of using oral Chelation agents to clean your system but it reguires you to be very careful because when you start getting rid of minerals from your system the ones you need have to be replaced. It take about 8 times longer than using IV infusions but it's possible. With both methods you need to be a replacement vitamin/ mineral program. There is alot of books written on the subject and much Info available. The best books I have read is: "Forty Something Forever" and "Bypassing Bypass". I read 5 books before I decided to do IT. It has good results improving circulation. Take Care----Harry Bill Magic 06-12-2001, 06:05 PM Hi Harry, Could you possibly provide the authors of those books on cleansing the arteries?
