Try some bugleweed and/or Kelp. Good Luck!

yeah.
Try Kelp or other herbs and make yourself hyperthyroid and risk a heart attack.

You need thyroid hormone if you are really hypothyroid. Taking additional iodine or iodine rich food supplements is dangerous.
See a doctor.

Zane, just wanted you to know i am hyperthyroid and have used BUGLEWEED to suppress it, and it worked for me, The BUGLEWEED herb suppress the thyroid, but since you are hypothyroid, it wouldnt be good for you to take the BUGLEWEED, cause it will make your even more hypothyroid and you will feel worse...There is a homeopathic alternative for hypothyroid without any side effects, however the only one that can give it to you is a homeopathic doctor...

Well, shoot! I went to see where you were from, and lost what I had already written! So if you see an unfinished comment floating out in Cyberspace, I likely did it!

By all means, research your symptoms -- you can do it at health food store -- I prefer one privately owned -- so many of them are now owned by pharmaceuticals -- and I don't do "pharmacy." A good Osteopath who believes in nutrition and supplements (therefore, more nutrition oriented,) can be very helpful. But if you study on your own, you'll discover that there are some good Thyroid extracts, at Health Food Store, and taken with Ginsing, my base temp (taken for 10 minutes under the arm before getting out of bed) has increased, as has my energy level. I had to increase the amount I was taking SLOWLY, until I began to feel better. I also take Chromium to keep from craving sweets, and lecithin and Ginko Phytosome for memory -- all related to the thyroid being "tired."

Don't do what I do unless you research, as you could get into trouble without a roadmap!

Hope this helps,

b
