In the last year I've had three one-time bouts of bloody mucus, in December 2002, June 2003 and December 2003.
In all cases, I was waked-up by abdominal pain and cramps, about 4-5 a.m., and I had two or three BM, all diarrheic, from liquid to very loose.
After relief, about 11 a.m. of same day, I had another BM, ant this one had bloody mucus.
All cases has been exactly in the same way: diarrhea in the night and one-time bout of bloody mucus next morning.
I can remember (abosultely sure) that in two bouts I drunk champagne that night, but I cannot remember if it was so in the third one, althought it's very probable.
I'm male, 38 y.o., and I usually drink beer (one glass) eating.
¿What can it be? ¿Perhaps a allergic reaction? ¿intolerance? Help please, I'm going to be scared.

I would suggest you go to your doctor as it could be many, many things.
