Hi,
I've suffered from chronic daily headaches for going on 25 years. Just recently my husband and I have begin trying to have a baby, and my doctors all think this is a good idea as it might help the headaches I have that are hormonal. In the meantime, they've taken me off all medications, including Prozac, Toradol for pain, and Maxalt for pain. The only thing I can take if I get a doozy is Fiornal and Phenergan. Five days into it, I haven't had any migraine, but I'm really nervous. Does anyone here have experience with this situation?

I had migraines when I was pregnant. I was allowed to take Tylenol w/ codine in small doses when they were bad. Surprisingly enough I got only 2-3 during each pregnancy. I think it has something to do with the progesterone levels. Try massage therapy if you are worried and it makes you tense. Treat yourself-use the money you are saving on drugs to get a massage once a week to improve blood frow to your head. I really think treating yourself better when trying to get pregnant or when you are pregnant is very important.

Trying to have a baby is a wonderful decision. Nothing should stop you from this experience. However, be careful. I had migraines since the age of nine. When I got pregnant with my second child in my twenties, my migraines became a daily thing. Now, instead of 1-2 a month, I have up to 20 a month. And this all started with pregnancy (so claims my doctors). Five years later they still aren't any better.
Good luck to you. I wish you only the best, both with the baby and the headaches.
