Has anyone tried the As Seen on TV product the Finishing Touch? I was considering using it for trimming my eyebrows... As of now I use a large hair clippers with the littlest guard on it to make my dark eyebrows appear thinner (it really works) but the clippers are kind of akward and bulky...

I have a Finishing Touch, but I don't recommend using it on the eyebrows. My girlfriend was trying to use it between her eyebrows and got one of her eyebrows accidentally. They are great for other areas. You could also try curved cuticle scissors. Also, it's not very expensive to get your eyebrows waxed at a salon and it will last a while. They could thin them out, also.

I actually want it to thin my eyebrows (with the attatchment that comes with it). There's no way I'd use it to shape my brows. You need to pluck or wax!

Hello Kitty215, how do you thin your eyebrows out? I get mine waxed for shape but would like them not so bushy-

Thanks,

Heather

Hi Kitty215, I just ordered the finishing touch from TV. I am hoping too to use it on my eyebrows. It says it comes with a adaptor for the eyebrows. I don't really need to thin them but I could use it for removing the hairs instead of plucking like the ad shows.Did you say you have one or are you buying one? I am curious to see how it works. Looks like it removes facial hair too. I hope it works!!

I'm not sure if I'm going to get one yet... I'm thinking about it though.

My eyebrows are really dark due to how long the hairs are towards the middle of my face... so as of now I either take a fine tooth comb and comb from the top until the hairs are sticking thru the comb and then take a tiny pair of sissors (they might be baby toe nail cutters? or beauty sissors?) and trim it that way...

OR

I have an hair buzzers... and I put it on a #1 and then trim it that way. Both ways make them lighter and controlled.

Hi, Well I just received my finishing touch I ordered and I love it. I ordered it from TV but my daughter found it at Walmart at even a cheaper price and she loves it. It really does work. I haven't used it on my eyebrows to thin because I have thin eyebrows so I don't want them any thinner but I do use it above and below them and it really works great. I also use it for my facial hair and now my face feels like baby skin and looks clearer.I even used it on my bikini area and it worked! I'd suggest it to anyone that has a problem with facial hair that is afraid to use a razor. It really does work!!! :bouncing:

I want to get this item but I am worried about how the facial hair and peach fuzz looks when it grows back in. This is the only thing that worries me.

Anybody have experience enough with this to tell me how the hair looks when it comes back in?

Thanks!
J.

Hi Purplelighting, as I have told from people that have used it, it never grows back like a razor does. It just removes hair like a scissor would do,but, alot cleaner and easier. It only takes a few minutes to use and your faces looks great.Especially in the sun where it really shows up. Use it as often as you need to. I love mine.No more razors for me on my face.I know you,ll love it, but don't buy it from TV, they sell them at drugstores and I believe at Walmart. I payed $20 and my 2 daughters payed $9.99. They are exactly the same.
Good Luck,
I know you,ll like it

Bed Bath & Beyond has it for $9.99 and I used a 20% off coupon they send me in the mail all the time, so it was $8.47! What a great buy huh?

Hey Psabrina, I will never buy another thing on TV. I never had before and will never again. It always seems to come out in stores anyways. Thanks for the info. I'll spread the word. Do you like yours? I love mine!

I've been thinking about trying this because I have hair on my upper lip that I would like to get rid of. I'm wondering though, how long does it take for the hair to grow back? Does it grow back as fast as it does when shaving or is it something closer to tweezing? I'm just afraid of my upperlip looking like my dad's at the end of the day. :p

Yes, I like it so far...I use it on my face. And yes, most of the stuff on T.V comes out in stores. We have a store here that sells 'As Seen on T.V' stuff but i haven't been there yet. Maybe I should check it out huh?

finishing touch-how long do these things last? Mine seemed to work great the 1st time I tried it but then didn't seem to work very good at all after that. Thanks

I've had mine for about a month and I use it for my upper lip only...so far it hasn't had any 'issues'.

My husband has the Micro Touch from Walmart. Is this bascially the same thing as the Finishing Touch?
