Had a blood urine test about 1 month back, got the results back a week ago. Everything was fine, except got a 1+ (30mg/dL) urine protein reading. I have had a urine protein reading in Feb 2002 for health insurance purposes (negative) and the doctor gave me another when I discussed the test with him (negative).
I was on antibiotics when the test was taken (for a sinus infection) and probably wasn't drinking enough water, so probably had some sort of dehydration. Also, taking Allegra and probably some Sudafed Sinus Headache. My blood serum Creatinine was 1.2 mg/DL and my BUN ratio was 10.8. Everything else looked good (i.e blood protein, cholesterol, etc.)
Doctor told me to get another random spot check in a month (mid-Jan). If something shows up then, I'd probably need to get a 24-hr test.
So is there anything I should be overly concerned about (considering the two negative tests and one positive in the past year and half).
Thanks
