I have custom made trays and a whitening kit provided by my dentist. However, my teeth are so sensitive that I am in agonizing pain within 24 hours of using the product. Much more on my bottom row. I have used Sensodyne and even Prevident but it doesn't help. Any suggestions????

I didnt find anything that helped much except time. It took me about 3 months to be able to eat icecream or have the wind hit my teeth. Keep using the sensitive toothpaste-i think it does help a little.
Mine got super sensitive from the crest whitestrips. I actually had to go to the dentist it was so bad and they said time and the sensitive toothpaste.
I just use a whitening toothpaste now, not any other trays, stripes, paints, etc.
A hard lesson learned.

I have experienced the same thing. I have to get 10% not 15 or 20 because it hurts! You cannot leave the tray on any longer than an hour or so to avoid sensitivity. It will take longer to whiten but you won't be in pain during it!

Go to the drugstore and ask the pharmacist for Gel-Kam. It has a high concentrate of flouride & will help revitalize your teeth & help take away the pain and sensitivity. Put the Gel-Kam in both of your trays, and wear it/them for 4 minutes before you bleach your teeth, then do the same again for another 4 minutes after bleaching your teeth.

Is it just your teeth that hurt, or are your gums red/hurt from the bleach?

If you haven't given up on bleaching your teeth, when you do bleach them, put some Vaseline Intensive Care For Lips on your gums when bleaching...I know it sounds weird, but it will keep the bleach gel off of your gums.

I hope this helps! :bouncing:
