Mine didn't last long. Few days. I went to the doctor VERY early. That is the key. Then get the med. for the virus. :)

how long do these sorry things last?
the spots themselves last about a week or two. But the pain could last alot longer. My 9 yr old son had shingles 2 mths ago and is still having back pains from them. And they can be contagious just like the chickenpox. My 5 yr old contracted the chickenpox from him and he even had the shot when he was 1.
