First thing I want to say is: I wish I thought of the sight last time I was constipated. :bouncing:

Anyways...

My first question is... I get constipated very easily. I never really had this problem until I had my daughter. My daughter is now 4 and it just gets worse over the years. I eat my fiber every day and I try to drink the proper amount of water (I can be bad at times). Although, if I eat one wrong thing it will back me up at least for a day or 2. There are sometimes were I won't go for a week or 2. I did go see a doctor for this and she said to eat lots of fiber and prunes. Drink lots of water and exersize. I do almost all of the things above except I slack on the water. I still get constipated. I feel silly talking about this but is this a common thing.
Sorry now I might get vived, I hope I don't affend anyone. This will sound kind of silly.

When I have a bowel movement sometimes right before I go I get a sharp pain near my utirus. It doesn't happen all the time, but it does happen. When this happens sometimes I don't even want to go because it hurts so much. When I had my daughter the doctor said that was a common thing for the first couple weeks. I also had another doc tell me that it wasn't. But, nothing was done. Now 4 years later should I still have these symptoms. I also noticed that I get more constipated near my menistartion (again I can't spell). Can this also get worse along with stress. I suffer from panic disorder so thats why I ask.

My other question is for my husband. He is the opposite of me. He has diarrea over apple juice. He also goes right after every meal. He has had the tar before and the bloody stool. He has gone to the hospital for this but they did all the tests and said there was nothing to be found wrong with him. In his side of the family there is diabetes. He does has the symptoms for it but was tested negative for it. Does this contribute to it as well.

Sorry I am still trying to get comfortable talking about this. Although this site is the best thing that has ever happened to me. I don't do messaging/emailing that often. I am also new to this. Thanks for listening. I hope to hear a reply or even someone with the same problems. Again thanks!!!
