This might have been already been asked.

I am always tired all of the time. I have been always known need a lot of sleep. But, in the past year I have been getting worse. This could be, because I have also developed panic attacks as well. Anyways I can sleep 12 hours and get tired within 4-6 hours. So tired I can barely keep awake. I though I was sleeping to much, but I tried only having 8 hours of sleep and still the same thing. The only time I don't noticed that I am tired is when I am so busy I don't pay any attention. I am also very fatigue, foggy minded, and forgetful. I did go the the doctor and the doctor found nothing wrong with me. She said it could be that I am depressed, but she can't say that for sure.

My first question is: Is this just a person to person thing. Just every person is differant on how they sleep.

I also took weight loss pills that contained ephedra in it for almost 2 years right after my daughter was born. I have been off of it for about almost 2 years as well. Can my body be so dependant on it now that it can't supply its own energy?

Is there something I can do to make it better??

Anyways thank you for listening

It could be cfs or your right it could be the pills, maybe you should try sleeping pills to see if you can condense your sleep into a smaller amount of time, do you have trouble sleeping at all?

I can really empathise with you..... I was diagnosed with epstein barr 4 years ago and since last year I have all the symptoms of CFS. I used to be able to get by on 8-9 hours of sleep, now it's a struggle to get out of bed after 12-13!!! Is it just winter? I hate winter...
I always thought I should let my body wake up when it wants to, but has sleeping 12 hours become a bad pattern? Should I set an alarm and force myself to get up earlier? sorry to add more questions to your thread, but this has also been something I've been worrying about.
*hugs* to you and hoping you had a good day!

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE let me know what you find out. I have too been very tired all of my life ... requiring a LOT of sleep. After my first child was born four years ago I started taking ephedra and have been on and off for the last four years ... UNTIL THE BAN that is. Even with the ephedra, I could get sleepy but was functional. Your story sounds just like mine, but I have one question?? Have you needed a lot of sleep all of your life or just since kids? Because having children makes us all tired and depressed more often than usual. I have been to doctors and psychiatrists and no one has come up with anything and I also search the web daily for a miracle answer. Good luck to you and I would like to know about your progress so keep me posted.
