I made an earlier post in which I was looking for something to help with the fatigue associated with anxiety and depression and that I was experimenting with mainly Maca and also a couple of other herbs. I mentioned giving up on Maca because I didn't believe it was helping, rather an increased strength of Ginseng was most likely responsible for my having felt better. Well, I decided to slowly reduce my daily dosage the Maca and started to notice feeling more and more tierd. The tierd feeling really hit me today and the depression was the worst it's been in quite a while. It got to the point where I didn't feel as though I could even get up off the sofa. Not knowing what to do, I decided to take a mega dose of the Maca. That was a few hours ago and I now can't believe how much better I"m feeling! It wasn't long after taking the Maca that I could definitely feel my energy level soar along with my mood. I am going to stick with Maca!

I have heard maca mentioned on the thyroid bulletin board. What is it?
