Does it matter if you do not take your tablet the same time every day, I take mines at various times like first thing in the morning and the next day in the afternoon. Should u take it the same time every day? Also I read that you shouldnt drink grapefruit juice while taking this medication is this true?

It doesn't really matter that much when you take it, but to be honest is it really that hard to take it at a regular time?

I hear grapefruit juice can intensify the effects of some Benzo's, but I haven't heard of any such effects with SSRI's. Again though, if this is a worry to you, simply avoid it. Just drink the tablet with a glass of water.

agree it can be taken any time, with or without food, grapefruit juice may react with many drugs not yet tested, probably best to avoid grapefruit or the juice if on any prescription meds, its now off most hospital catering lists of foods

If you want consistancy, take it at the same time everyday. When you take a medication, it takes x number of hours to be removed from your system. Taking it at different times every day allows the blood-serum levels to fluctuate. That could cause physical or emotional side-effects. However, if you take it within a few hours of the same time everyday and notice no side-effects, then why worry?

Grapefruit juice can cause some medications to stay in the bloodstream longer. From experience, I know this to be true with xanax. In essence, you have more of the medication in your body than the doc. prescribed. Prob. not a problem if you are on a low dose, but if you are approaching the upper limits of the safe dosage, then it could be a problem. Ask your doctor.
