I am looking for a way to increase serotonin, dopamine, and norepinephrine within the brain. My profession is helped greatly by such a scenario. However, I do not wish to take ritalin or any amphetamine. I thought about taking St. Johns Wort as it is an maoi and blocks reuptake of norepinephrine, serotonin, and dopamine. Then supplementing Mucuna Pruriens which is like 30% levodopa. Possibly throwing in 5-hydroxytryptophan, but am leary as it may increase blood levels of serotonin which can lead to health problems. Then maybe ephedrine or yohimbine HCL. Please do not criticise my quest. But if you can comment, please do. I am not looking to get "high," more just seeking an energetic euphoric feeling "similar" to prescription amphetamines, which I am qualified for anyways.
Regards.

Consider the amino acid Tyrosine and phenylalinine, the coenzyme NADH, and herbs like Coffee, Ephedra, Cola Nut, Ginsing. I beleive S-adenylmethionine (SAMe) will boost seritonin. For all those stimulants, you could disrupt your sleep pattern or amount. Use those supplements in moderation. Glutamic Acid, GABA, and Melatonin will revert the body back to a calming resting state.

There is a new product in France called Adrafinal. This a brand new stimulant that is non-addictive and different from amphetamines, methylphenadate, caffine and cocaine. It works on the post-synaptic receptors. Its doesn't cause some of the trade marks of stimulants such as increased heart-beat, insominia, depression, and anxiety. Adrafinal is also being looked into as a anti-depressant.
