I'm new here. I'm sorry if don't really know the polite words to describe this. Since about the 8th grade I have had a situation of producing a large amount of "solid matter" when I go to the bathroom. I used to plug up our toilets so often that dad replaced one of our "quiet" toilets with one that flushed better. I still sometimes have trouble with that one. I also have touble with it at school. I don't have constipation (at least no more than anyone else). I do eat a lot mostly because of working out and having a fast metabolism. I eat a fair amount of fiber but nothing extreme. The time between going to the bathroom is no more than 2 days, usually once a day. I know this problem must sound bizaar, but it is a persistent bother to me. I am always a little worried using the bathroom at other people's houses or on airplanes, etc. I can usually "hold it" for quite a while, but sometimes there's no way out of it. I want to know if there is anything to do or if this is really abnormal. I have never talked to a doctor or anything.

well, actually you should count your blessing if you have stool with that much bulk and volume. I think it's ok as long as the stool doesn't contain a lot of your food undigested. Please don't hold your stool when you have the urge, that will cause constipation and eventually hemorroids and other annoying problems. Maybe you can train yourself to go twice a day to the toilet ( I do that sometimes when I ate a lot). that way you would have a normal amount of stool.
