Hello
I ve been having this weird dizziness for some time now. It was worst last week during the finals. Everyday when i woke up i felt like i m drunk or something. I feel very light-headed and it doesnt feel normal.
I had some kind of a pain in my right ear 2 weeks ago. Maybe it might be related? I think its the worst when i wake up in the morning. It wasnt there during the weekend but now its kind of coming back. I started to feel a little light headed again and i am starting to get scared.

Hi there, just wanted to add that it is possible to get a viral infection of the inner ear which often follows on from an upper respiratory tract infection (which may have caused the earache you experienced initially).
This can cause a whole range of symptoms from intense vertigo to a slight sense of disequilibrium or feeling "spaced out".
In the majority of cases this is self limiting and will clear up over a matter of weeks, however if it does continue then get referred to a neuro-otologist asap.
Do a search on labyrinthitis for more info or visit the inner ear disorders board (though be warned that mot people posting here are from the small percentage who experience more long term problems as a result)
Hope this helps, xx
