I wanted to ask about the best way to get rid of facial hair, I have been bleaching it for a couple of years, hair over my lip, and about 8 months ago, I didnt have the bleach so I plucked the darker hairs for a while. And now when I bleach, it will not stay...I have to do it very often to keep it "not noticeable", what can I do to make it fine again and able to hold the bleach? I was going to pluck it again, but I wanted to post first, because I dont want it to get thicker...
so, anyone got any suggestions?

your hair will NOT get thicker if you pluck or shave or wax or use nair. Don't bleach it again-use anything to get it off.

HI, I just received the finishing touch that they advertise on TV and I love it. It really works great and is not suppose to grow hair back like a shaver does. My daughter found it at Walmart for 9 dollars and she loves it too. It is for sure buying one. I would never suffer again with facial hair again. It does not leave your face stubbly, just soft and makes your face look so much better. I would advice anyone to buy one, they really do work! Debbie Z

Hi, I have been wondering about the Finishing Touch. I think I'm gonna get one and try it out. I have hair on my upper lip and my chin(YUCK). I tried waxing it once and it hurt bad! Mostly I just pluck them out when they get long enuff. Plucking does not make hair grow back thicker. That is a common myth. Anyway, thanks for the info debz!

My 12 yr old daughter gets her upper lip waxed and now I bought her the 'finishing touch' and it works great.... saves on money to the salon to get waxed every month.

Hi to all that have tried the finishing touch. I do use it all the time, especilly the areas I need it most. It works great! Greatest thing they ever came out for woman. I would advice any women that has the hair needed for their face removed to buy one. As I said before,I used it on my bikini area and it work without any rash or razor burn.Let me know how it works for others,it sure is better than waxing.

I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!!!! :)

i have the finishing touch, and at first it was great..got rid of my facial hair and it didnt hurt..except i have dark hair so it made my facial hair so disgusting.. like a guy.. so i wouldnt advise it to grls with dark hair.. it works just like a razor..cutting off the hair on the surface.. waxing and threading are better..threading isn't very common in the states.. but i found a place once.. it hurts like hell, a bit more than waxing.. but it totally gets rid of hair.. it doesnt come back that quickly depending on your hair type..

i have very dark hair and very white skin and i used a finishing touch on the sides of my face where i have facial hair, and i could see a shadow of brown hair after i used it. so now im waiting 21 days for the hair to grow back so i can wax it.

Well, I can give you advice on what you probably shouldn't do. I used Nair for the face on my chin, upper lip, and sides of face and got the equivalent of a chemical peel from it. It did the job but my face immediately started burning, and felt raw, sticky and weird for that night and it was flaky and irritated for the next two. I left it on for exactly the amount of time it suggested in the directions and followed the directions otherwise. Maybe my skin's just too sensitive or something, but that was a bit unnerving.

I just wanted to add that I finally got up the nerve to wax my upper lip because I have black hair, it was quite noticable. I am using parmissa it's a hot wax stipless kit. at first when I saw the word "hot wax" I thought to myself, I can't do this, but I tried it and It really works great, after three uses, my hair way thinner than it used to be. It is a little painful (my thresh hold for pain is pretty bad and I did just fine) nothing exaggerated though, but that's really minimal because you don't have to worry about it for a couple of weeks and when it grow in, it's not as noticable at all. Whatever you use is really fine though.

waxing only hurts for a second and gets rid of the hair for more than a week. who ever is scared of waxing shouldnt be its not bad at all. finishing touch doesnt work for me.

I've been using Nair for at least 2 years now. I never suffered any burning or anything from it. I think every person's skin sensitivity is different. I've never waxed or used the finishing touch, so I can't comment on those. But the Nair works well for me.

i used that finishing touch thing for a while on my lip and chin but eventually my hair did grow in thicker and darker. I mean its good to get rid of hair but it grows back quickly.
