Hi, I was wondering: Is it possible for a flu or virus to cause mild tachycardia? Thanks!

It is my understanding that the flu or other virus, or a bacterial infection can all cause heart rhythm problems.

The important thing is to get the tachycardia converted back to normal rhythm as soon as possible.

I just answered someone elses post about this. See " fast heart rate when waking up" above(I think that's the name of the post) .I have tach. (up to 120-130 bpm) when I am running a fever or am nauseated.
