I am looking for an alternative health provider in South Carolina. I used to have high blood pressure, but I have that pretty much under control. I would like to have a doctor that can listen to a patient. I have no known maladies at present. I am in Greenville.

There is a group of Doctors located in Landum,SC that does some alternative medicine like Cheation Therapy but I don't know what else they practice??? You may want to check it out.

I actually found an Osteopathic Doctor (OD) and he is wonderful. He also is a runner so he has at least some compassion.

You may find alternative health providers in any state and also other countries by going to the website for the American College for the Advancement in Medicine. Their abbreviation is ACAM and their website is located at www.acam.org. (http://www.acam.org.)
These are MD's and they will list specialities beside their names. Go to the bottom of the list to see the code for their speciality. Example: NT= Nutrition.
If you do not know what a speciality is such as chelation you can do a search for it on Google. One site that explains EDTA chelation is the website for Mount Rogers Clinic.
If you are working to decrease your blood pressure, you will want doctor in preventative medicine, but any of these ACAM doctors should be able to help you with preventative medicine.
