Hi all. Well I demanded a CT for the lung nodule found in my lung, and she gave it to me. I was really hoping it was calcification. The CT tech came back in and said "well, we cant see any calcification, it must be living tissue"....so then they injected die into my arm. Now I would have preffered that they tell me NOTHING. That way I could have gone on the next week thinking "its probably just calcification". I have been trying to get the results myself instead of waiting for the doc to get them. I know it was read on monday night, the film can be picked up at any time, but the report has not been typed yet. This is nerve wracking, im really hoping it is a vascular shadow like they said it "may" be.

How sad that it's taking so long to get the CT Lung Scan results. You mentioned that you demanded a CT for the lung nodule found in your lung. How did you become aware of the lung nodule? Was it through a routine xray? Hopefully, you'll get some good news next week. I imagine the Holidays is what's causing the delay in results. Keep us posted. The VERY best.
