[B][FONT=Comic Sans MS]Hi! My husband recently has been having severe back pain. He has gone to his PCP who has given him Cipro and set up an xray on monday. However, he was told he has a great deal of blood in his urine and both kidneys feel swollen upon palpatation. Dr. indicated that to be unusal with stones - for it to be in both kidneys. There are issues with his blood work but the dr. would not elaborate only that he wanted to repeat the blood work to make sure it was right.

My hub has never been one to do the healthy thing. Always drinking too much soda and smokes at least 1 pk a day.

Does this sound bad or could it be something minor?

Please any insight would be greatful!
