Hello!
I need to tan otherwise I look really pasty. I am going to a department store this week to buy some Clarins self tanner products. A friend of mine uses their gel or lotion..but I don't have her number anymore to ask for advice. I am blonde and do not want something too dark, just a golden glow for now. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks :)

Hi, I've been using this for awhile and have very pale skin and blond hair too. I use the gel based one by Clarins and put it on through the week. On me it isn't dark at all it gives me a glow after 2 times or so. I put a dime size amount on every second day or so until I like the color. Never used it on my body but for the face its nice.Good luck.(for the body I use tantowels from the shopping channel(canada), they don't streak on me and I can get dressed about 5mins later.(good for face too:)just be careful around the ankles-it did streak once there on me-practice makes perfect:)

I have used the gel from Clarins on my face and it is nice. I did not have any problems with it but wished that I could get the "golden glow" as you mentioned with just one application. I decided to try the one from Christian Dior, and I like it better. It gives me a golden glow with just one application.

I like clarins and i also like estee lauder's go bronze. I read and article by the make up artists to the stars and they say that when they apply to them they exfoliate and then rub the product in really well. After waiting about 5 min or so you take and old towel and buff it into you skin. I tried this with amazing results. I'm sure it takes some of the darkness away but its really even.

I use the entire Clarins anti-aging line, I'm 48, and absolutely swear by it. I would assume that the tanning products are as wonderful as the others. The nice thing is, if you don't like it, you can return it to the Dept. store you purchased it from.
