So you have an H. pylori infection, and you were treated with the triple therapy....losec, biaxin and flagyl....is that right?

I think you got sick with something else in the middle there 'cause the symptoms you describe aren't caused by the drugs you were given.

You might need a second course of antibiotics,in some cases it doesnt knock it out the first time. There are some ppl who are resistent to certain antibiotics. Therefore you might have to take them again. Also, it depends on how long you've been carrying the bacteria. Some ppl can carry it for many years with no symptoms. And, others experience symptoms, me being one of them. If I hadn't had and endoscopy and biospy done, would never had known what was causing my symptoms. They found with and endoscopy and biospy that I also had an inflamed stomach and esophagus. When I was on the antibotics, the only thing I experienced was a metallic taste in my mouth while taking them and sometimes a little nausea.
