Hi, I am new to these boards and I am in need if some help.
At the beginning of june I notice a couple of tiny slightly red bumps on the left side of my forehead along the hairline. More and more grew until I had a rather large area above my left eyebrow that became red and inflamed. The same thing started on the other side, at the same time I started getting tiny skin coloured bumps, rough very dry, in a line under both eyes, they stretched from my nose, under my eyes and eventually spread to my temples, the roughness smoothed out and became red. I also got a couple of skin coloured bumps above my lips that spread until the entire area under my nose was covered in tiny spots that were red and dry. I now have a couple of clusters along the jawline. None of these seem to have puss or fluid in them. Although some of the inflammation has gone and some of the redness too, the rash still remains and does not seem to want to go(six months so far)
but that is not the end of it. I also started getting about 3 months ago small droplet like bumps(skin coloured) on the back of both my hands and up the backs of both my forearms. They can be itchy at times especially when they are touched, but they can also burn or sting. The rash on my arms look like a lichen planus type rash.
I have been to the doctor, she doesn't think it is eczema and I had a blood test done, biochemistry came back normal but I had a raised mcv. I have an appointment with a dermatologist in a couple of weeks but I was wondering if anyone has come across this at all. the doctor thinks it could be a discoid lupus or something like that. Sorry this is so long, any help would be great, thank you.
