Hi,
Have a question. Since Thanksgiving, have been having spasms in RLQ . Saw doc, she thought it might be diverticulitis. Went on two rounds of cipro because there was only a few days of relief between the end of the first and beginning of second round. No Relief. Appt set for GI doc on Jan. 20th to discuss possible colonoscopy. I tried to rest my stomach, by not eating or drinking but the pain got worse and after a few weeks of hardly eating nothing but soups ended up in ER. ER doc said i was dehydrated. Admitted to hospital for a few days and IV FLUIDS and IV antibiotics were given to me. ALL cat scans, blood work, xray came back normal. Have a history of intestinal spasms so they thought that might be it. Released and given lortab 10/500 and robinul forte and told to see my doc in one week for followup, which will be next week. Still have to wait to see the GI doc till the 20th tho.
QUESTION: Can severe lower right spasms (bowel) cause your right leg to feel numb and cold?? Since i left the hospital, i started to feel a bit better with the robinul, although it calmed the spasms and pain, it would come back, just not as severe as when i went to the ER. Now tho, my leg feels cold and get a tingly feeling as if my leg is falling asleep. Does anyone know what can cause this??
thanks
Jen

I think You should take a Calcium / Magnesium supplement. It helps muscle cramping and spasms.

Cold leg is usually caused by poor circulation???
