I need some medical help and was hoping somebody here good give me some advice. The help is for my mother. She is a 54 year old woman who has had gastric bypass surgery in the past. This causes naturally the stool to become almost like diarrhea. Well, in the last two years, she has literally been falling apart right in front of my eyes. She now has to wear Depends because she cant control anything. She has lost considerable amount of weight in the last two to three months. Id say about 30-40lbs. She now looks like a skeleton. She earlier today ended up getting stuck in the bathtub, because her legs couldnt push her up. All I know is this is tearing my family into pieces and Its killing me to watch her be like this. The bad thing is, she doesnt want to see a doctor. Any advice would help. Its scarying me.

I'm so sorry to hear about your mother.

She has to see a doctor. At this point, you'd probably do best calling 911 and having an ambulance take her, if she won't go herself. You'd be saving her life.

Well Im back to give an update..Thanks for the advice btw. My mom ended up going to the hospital under doctors orders and I guess she figured she had to. She is still in the hospital, but is looking better evey day!! We still dont know what caused the problem. They are still looking into it.
